Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, almost all the blogs on which I chose to work were based on wordpress, its a fact that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the fastest growing blogging platform ever.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. There are some interesting examples, let’s examine this one, Truck Winch and Straps, it has a nice name, the content on the site is not bad, since this is not a themed blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Check this one out, Cable Puller and Come Along, this blog is themed, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, but I think you understand the basics now. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, just like this blog, Best Business Hosting, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, use the old ones to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. It sounds pretty simple, but the real stuff will be more complicated, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
