Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, its well known that wordpress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, of course this is not a new idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, to write interesting content is always time consuming, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, such as this one, best price, it has a nice name, and it has a lot of interesting posts, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Check this one out, SEO Tools, this blog is themed, all topics are about same theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. Its easy to show more similar sites, but you should already see the point. Last but not least, you should build some casual blogs, do some casual postings randomly, just like this blog, Blog Tools, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.

After you successfully build a few blogs, add more blogs when you can, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. This is just an idea, the real stuff will be more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site dropped off index by major search engines.
