Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, its a fact that WordPress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, of course this is not a new idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, its never easy to build successful blogs. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, such as this one, Feng Shui Jewelry, it has a nice name, and it has a lot of interesting posts, though its not a theme focused blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. One more example, Winch Straps and Ratchet Tie Downs, this blog has a theme, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, but the basics are all the same. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, take one blog as example, Truckers Deal, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

After you successfully build a few blogs, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. It sounds pretty simple, but it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site dropped off index by major search engines.
