I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, so far we all agree that WordPress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you want values for your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, its never easy to build successful blogs. There are some interesting examples, let’s examine this one, Dog Food, the domain name is pretty good, and it has a lot of interesting posts, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Check this one out, Heavy Duty Hand Tools, this blog is themed, all posts are following the same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but the basics are all the same. Last but not least, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, cargo bungee, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

If you have a few established blogs already, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, do remember don’t do any spamming tricks for your sites, if you get black listed there is no come back.
